Having spent part of the year traveling and recording across 4 nations in 6 languages, Soekie and the Radikids are seeing the fruit of their labour! We are excited to announce the Malagasy and Creole albums have both been finalised, to launch on the streaming platforms in the next week! You can find all of Soekie and the Radikids’ music on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube and Amazon Music as well as downloadable albums here in the online shop.
The focus between recordings, traveling or at home is developing and teaching in the local schools. Soekie visits four groups in Hessequa weekly, during school time, where she teaches them new songs, how to praise God, and of course, Huismuis gets his say! If you haven’t met Huismuis yet, you can click HERE. A delightful young character with many happenstances that correlate to a lesson from the Bible, which Soekie faithfully points out and explains to him.
Seeing children praise God so openly, with such abandon is exhilarating. Finishing a recording is exhilarating and distributing that album to it’s nation is a great reward. To hear them sing God’s praise in their own tongue silences the enemy and builds a foundation for true worship; In Psalm 100:4, we are told to “enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.”
When we come to God, we have so many reasons to thank Him. Jesus is the greatest of all these reasons. Bringing thankfulness and praise to God is a way to worship Him and the focus of this mission. To equip children with weapons of warfare; the enemies of Jesus don’t like it when children praise – if they are present amongst the worshipers, then they spell the coming doom of God’s enemies.
There is a daily post on the ‘Who is God?’ and ‘Wie is God’ series on the Radikids Facebook and Instagram pages. Like follow and share! Until next time!
